3-days “Art Integrated Pedagogy & Mask Making workshop was organised on 12th & 13th & 14th February at DIET, Karbi Anglong, Diphu.The workshop started with the welcome speech by Principal, DIET, Karbi Anglong, Diphu addressing to Resource person, Programme Coordinator and the participants. The felicitation to respected Resource person Shri Ajanta Gogoi, Principal, DIET, Jorhat was performed by the Principal, Vice Principal & faculties of DIET, Karbi Anglong, Diphu. After all the introductory programme the workshop was handed over to the Resource person and programme coordinator.
The programme started with the brief introduction about “Art Integrated Pedagogy and Mask making” and sharing of the objectives and application of the programme. In the workshop participants were divided into various group and provided with all the materials required such as newspaper, sticky rice, glue, colours, brushes for making Masks, bamboo basket and many more. The participants followed all the instruction given by the resource person during preparation of colourful items and Mask making. After attending the 2-days workshop the students learned how to make the attractive Mask and many decorative items. The workshop was successfully conducted with full participation and cooperation by the students and the faculties of DIET, Karbi Anglong, Diphu.
