Skill Laboratory (Work Experience Lab)
The Skill
Laboratory, also known as the Work Experience Lab, is designed to
promote creativity, craftsmanship, and practical skill development among
trainee teachers. It is equipped with materials for art, craft, gardening,
simple carpentry, low-cost TLM creation, and other work-experience activities.
The Skill
Lab supports trainees in:
- Preparing innovative
teaching-learning materials
- Practising art, craft, and
creative expression
- Learning work-based skills such
as model making, stitching, or gardening
- Conducting hands-on activities
for school-level work education
- Developing resourcefulness using
low-cost and local materials
This lab fosters creativity, practical skills, and the ability to design engaging learning experiences for students.
